Despite the amount of work I see ahead, this new project has me psyched to the max!
As an aside, I hinted a few months ago — in a post from who-knows-how-long-ago, I penned something called “Attention Hockey Members“. If my friends couldn’t read between the lines in that one, I’d kinda hit a wall. I mean, I’d written over a thousand posts, and I was getting to a point where I felt I’d covered almost every part of our game (and lots about other games, too). So, whether it be “writer’s block” or whatever, I surely did hit that proverbial wall.
My God has always been good to me, though, and he recently reminded me how much I love audio/visual work — right along with my hockey. Ya, that second love has been a mental lifesaver for me. In fact, friends here might find my a/v history interesting in a post called “Video Marketing and SEO Go Hand in Hand”
With that, please take a look at an opening clip I’ll mix in with future television programs…
I’m not totally set on the format yet, mainly because this will depend somewhat on the contributions of others. In other words, it could be a very fast paced half-hour program, or perhaps even an hour long show.
As that video suggested, we’ll be covering a bunch of topics relating to the development of a hockey player, or the putting together of a hockey team.
And, I’m currently envisioning these shows “airing” weekly, most likely on Fridays.
Okay, so how about these CCC TV shows being accessible to hockey friends around the world? I believe they’ll be available to all fans for the first week. Thereafter, each episode will go into an archive, to only be viewed by members. I have a few immediate thoughts here, in this regard… Non-members will get to see everything, but only for a short time. Members, on the other hand, will eventually be able to search a vast library of great hockey information.
Ooooops, one last thing… I am not going to stop posting written articles, etc. As a matter of fact, I sense that doing more video work and less writing is going to ultimately crack that writer’s block, and…
Any thoughts? I’d love to hear from members and non-members alike. Just tell me in a comment below, what you think about our proposed CCC TV Hockey Weekly.
