As some members might know, I’ve been working on a special video series for several months, that having to do with “specificity” in our game. This first entry is only an introduction to specificity in hockey, but subsequent videos will cover just about all the game’s individual skills.
One other thing… I’m hoping passersby appreciate my down-to-earth approach to some rather scientific principles throughout this entire series.

An Introduction to Specificity in Hockey
Non-members are going to be given at least a brief access to this video on an introduction to specificity in hockey. From there, I’ll be getting more “specific” about individual hockey skills, including ones like skating, puckhandling, the passing game, attacking the net and more.
With that, I hope coaches, parents and older players pay close attention to the following video. For, as simple as the approach might seem, my theory about the “nature of our game” — and this introduction to specificity in hockey — will help one make much wiser decisions about game preparations…
