Teaching Hockey In A Closet – 1

A few years ago, I was asked to take part in an international hockey coaching symposium. Personally, I’ve always loved such things, and I jumped at the chance to present something to attendees relating to my background and experiences in skill development. My topic, as it turned out, was a little tongue-in-cheek, suggesting that we coaches (as well as parents) should consider teaching hockey in a closet.

As it turned out, my presentation encompassed six videos, with those segments containing both old and new information (when it comes to what my CoachChic.com members now).

With this, my aim in this first segment is to just introduce the idea of “teaching hockey in a closet”…

For those who won’t have access to the next five videos, I’m betting most will still get an idea of what I’m suggesting. As for my CoachChic.com members, plan on seeing the rest of this presentation in June 2022, as “Teaching Hockey In A Closet – 2”.
