Keeping Up With Coach Chic

I’m still at the hospital with Dennis. He’s been on a catheter since Saturday. Yesterday, they operated and removed two malignant tumors. We should get the results in about ten days. The urologist did share some good news — he said this type of cancer can be treated with oral medication. Also, Dennis’s catheter should be removed very soon.
But it doesn’t stop there. His next procedure will be with the cardiologist, who will be doing the stent placement and anything else his heart needs.
I haven’t left his side, even sleeping here at the hospital. They have a wonderful team of doctors, so I know he’s in good hands. A lot has been thrown at us since May, and it all started with sores on his foot. I still believe God has His hands on him, because even with the bad news, there is good news too.
They’ll be keeping him in the hospital a little longer to make sure he’s at 100% before we go home.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers — but please don’t stop. ❤️🙏
All my appreciation, Brenda (his wife)
