Before Dave gets into his video, let us share some thoughts on the benefits of strength in rotational movements:

The golf swing, as an example, is one of the most powerful rotational movements seen in sports. And so are as many of our ice or roller hockey shots — be they the slap, snap, sweep or backhand.

To train for rotational power you need to focus on speed of movement versus the force or resistance used. By focusing on speed of movement, regardless of the movement, it will train the body to accelerate force which will transfer into any rotational power movement.
