5-Minute Shoulder Mobility Flow to Try Out

Dave Schmitz, known as The Band Man, gives us an exercise that every hockey player — who has plenty of collisions — should be doing this 5-Minute Shoulder Mobility Flow to Try Out…

This 5-Minute Shoulder Mobility Flow using a low resistance Quantum Band is an effective way to mobilize your shoulders because:

1. The Band is a very accommodating tool that takes you further into the range of motion using gradual over-pressure

2. The band creates activation of your rotator cuff and scapular stabilizers while gradually lengthening shoulder and upper torso soft-tissues

3. The band is a light weight low resistance that can travel with you anywhere you workout 4. Using a half – kneeling position, this 5-Minute mobility sequence also mobilizes anterior hip and thigh at the same time. Alternate sides of these.

4 movements for 30-seconds, doing all movements on one side before switching front leg.

If you’re using any of Dave’s band exercises, he and old Coach Chic — and maybe members — would love to hear about it!
