Backward Stability on Defense

Here’s another quick CoachChic.com podcast I think my hockey friends will enjoy. It’s all about the posture required of a backward skating defender when he or she has to cover an oncoming attacker.

In this short episode, I explain why a backward skating defender has to keep his or her upper body steady in order to easier react in any direction with an oncoming attacker. It’s another fast listen, but it might change the way you practice handling those oncoming attackers.

Thanks for being here, and enjoy the episode!
