How Hockey Skaters Differ From Sprinters

As I completed a post entitled “What Hockey Skaters Can Borrow From Sprinters” earlier today, it struck me that I should also share here a video I’ve been circulating around social media for a few months.

The main idea of the previous post focused on those mechanics that are very similar in running and skating, and those that are very different. And, trust me, that it’s imperative to know what skaters can and shouldn’t attempt to borrow from runners.

Okay, so here’s the video — it’s fairly self-explanatory…

Sorry, that the video’s dimensions were set for social media posts, but I’m sure viewers can still get the gist of things, and see the huge difference between running and skating.
