Coming… May 2023
For those who are new here, please know I do this as sort of a courtesy to my members and potential members, trying to give them a sense of what’s “coming” within the next month. Rest assured, what one sees below is usually a minimum (and your questions or requests will always take precedence over my plans — in fact, I’ve planned a little lightly lately, to leave room for a few other ideas I have for posts).
Then, something new… By now my hockey friends know that I’ve gotten very deeply into “AI” (or artificial intelligence), including my recent use of Professor Bee as a digital assistant on each post (see him to the right).
Anyway, I’ve tried something really new this month, asking the brainiest AI program in the world for the top questions being asked about hockey by coaches, parents and older players. And, don’t ya know, the following topics were picked for us, and so have most of the answers.
So, let’s see how things go…
- “Essential Skills For Intermediate Hockey Players“
- “Avoid These Common Intermediate-level Playing Mistakes“
- “Effective Strategies For Hockey Team Communication And Cohesion“
- “Improving Hockey Speed And Agility“
- “Great Hockey Conditioning Ideas – Part 2“
- “The Most Important Drills And Exercises For Intermediate-level Hockey Players“
- “How Hockey Coaches Can Motivate Players And Keep Them Engaged“
- “Effective Ways To Teach Hockey Players To Read And React“
- “The Best Ways To Prepare Both Mentally And Physically For Hockey Play“
- “The Risks Of Coaches Neglecting Scientific Research In Their Training“
- “For Coaches: The Most Important Tactics And Strategies Against Different Opponents“
- “CCC-TV Hockey Show – Episode 79“
- “Coach Chic’s Hockey Podcast 38“

If you’re new here, don’t forget to take (and then keep tabs on) some long running polls — about “How Should A Beginner Hold A Hockey Stick” and “What Part Of Hockey Is Forechecking?” and then “The Hockey Skater’s Thrust And Shoulder Movements” (and don’t forget to check for my answers to these questions among later posts). You can also answer and comment on the latest poll, while I ready to write my own thoughts or findings on: “What Does a Yawn Mean During Hockey Exercise“. (If you should discover any link problems, please let me know.)

Don’t forget, to also take advantage of speaking with and questioning Professor Bee. It’s said that it’s not much different than talking with this old coach.
